More low end torque please
I was wondering what are some good ways to get more low end torque. I'm more interested in longevity and reliability than getting high horsepower out of my engine, but would like some more low end pulling power and quicker turbo spool up/throttle response. With a sixspeed manual it takes a little time to spool the turbo, especially from 2nd to 3rd. I have a AFE stage 2 intake and a 4" turbo back now and am waiting for a wicked wheel to hopefully cure my turbo surge, which I read might help the turbo spool up a little quicker too as a bonus. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yep...I have the DP Tuner. Not a huge difference on the lower tunes, but on my 140hp tune....Wow, what a difference from a stop! If I have to pull out in traffic I will switch it over for a few second until I am out in traffic then I will switch it back to my 80hp econo. Work out pretty good and it's fun to "play" with.
