hmmm boost?

well I temporarly hooked up my boost guage and well so far I am only able to hit 9 psi with the mods I have I can't hear any leaks but maybe i have missed some but also the hose is brital and the motor has 307K what you guys think.

my fuel pressure is 65 psi

1995 Ford F250 4X4 Sup cap Long bed off white
7.3L Powerstroke, 5 speed manual

Mods Stancor GPR, Diamond eye 3" DP, Diamond Eye 4" Exhaust, AFE Stage II Intake,3" plenum setup,Swamps IDM,Eletric Fuel System,Adrenaline HPOP,stage I sticks, ts 6 pos,
Banks 5" Tips, Leveling Kit,Dana 60 Swap, AutoMeter Boost, Pyro, Fuel Pressure
30% Windows,

if the power is good....i would say you have a leak in the hose that runs to your boost gauge.....

its common not to get them to seal right....make sure everything is sealed up tight there first before worrying about it..

is there something better hen the nylon hose

What are you doing to get 9 psi? Are you driving down the road or just reving it in the drive way? I see no tuner in your sig, and with a 1.15 housing those numbers are not HORABLE... You should see about 12-14psi with a stock OBS

just reving but i guess with moving the mass of the truck would probably create a few more psi then just reving it

I am suprized you were able to get that much just reving it... You have to drive it to build boost. Turbo needs a load on it to build boost.

That's a bit odd. I *MIGHT* hit 1psi without the truck in gear.

I would rev it to 1,500 and hold for about 15 seconds then hit it to 3,000
