boost leak????

Pull your turbo and look at the exhaust wheel... It could be damaged, causing a bit of that noise. Are you having any issues that go along with the noise?

You would not see a differance in sound out the exhaust if the boots were bad. Are your EGT's higher? Remove your intake and grab the compressor wheel. It should spin free, with little movement in and out and up and down.

I would bet something is wrong with the turbo to be getting that noise. It could also be a bad EBPV, maybe closed part way and stuck.

What setting were you on in the chip?

yeah there alot higher it was on the 140

Pull that intake off and get hold of that wheel. Also check to make sure the EBPV is not stuck closed a bit. Can you get a vid of it at idle, with the hood up, over by the turbo?
