Blinker stays solid while brakes applied.

Driving around yesterday and when I have my blinker on and I press the brake pedal it stops blinking and just stays solid, let off the brake and all is back to normal. Thought it could be my line of fire under the tailgate but unplugged that and it is still doing it. I am thinking it could be a grounding issue?? Any input welcome or where to start checking my grounds??

Thanks, Josh
