Rough running code p1316

I will start with everything that has been done. ICP IPR CPS replaced. New injector cups and o-rings on all injectors. Also valve cover gaskets and harness replaced. I found two bad injectors and these be changed out next. My question is when I took to ford while back with 1316 code they told me I had 6 out of 8 cylinders showing a open and to replace those gaskets and harness cause something is unplugged. I said I did and they said well must be something else or i screwed up. Needless to say havn't been back to them cause if 6 out of 8 showing open it wouldn't start let alone drive it to there shop. So since I won't let them work on it I don't get help back from them hooking to computer. Also they said the cct test showed injectors good at the time. Anyways double checked all connections and all appear good. Only thing I didn't do is ohm everything out to idm. My question is what can keep giving me the 1316 code but always run fine when its warm. It always starts and its not a long crank start or anything. I am hoping after injectors are replaced the rough idle goes away and my mpg come back cause its getting like 8 mpg right now. Just so you know I found the bad injectors by unplugging them while it was running and narrowed it down to 1 and 5. How ever I will bet anything even if it runs fine I will still get the 1316 code. What can keep this code coming back. Any help be appreciated.

did you make sure the UVCH is plugged in all the way? and from what that code reads t says it may be an IDM issue.
since you know how to use a DMM ill get some specs for you to test the IDM and what pins to check

Yes I have checked both sides to make sure the plug ins are connected. That info would be helpfull thanks. If a solonoid on injector was acting up or had an issue could it throw that code.

The 1316 isn't really a diagnostic code though....

The IDM sets that code to tell you that it needs to do a Buzz Test to further resolve a specific trouble. To go further, you need to let the IDM do it's job and have a buzz test run on it.

If you've replaced the UVCH connections, the next place I would suspect would the wires going to those connectors (especially where they go over the Valve Covers) or the IDM itself (which often gets water inside and the corrosion starts and causes the same thing)

I had an issue with my truck throwing a 1316. It was very intermittent. Would run fine for a bit then sputter and throw the code. After messing with it more found that the pass side was not firing. This screams the uvch right? so I pulled the cover, replaced the harness and still had the issue. I thought the worst.... turns out the big connector on the drivers side cover needed a wiggle. after that, no more issues. Might check that connector. Its the one where the harness splits out to feed both uvch.
