All but one power door lock quit working...

... went to lock the door today and only the front passenger works. I did the lock motor mod a few years ago replacing the resistor in the motors. Checked fuses all good, but why would only one still work I'm completely lost.

I don't know which mod you speak of, but both my actuators happened to quit at the same time.
I replaced with universal 12v actuators and haven't had a problem in 5 years.
Good luck.

Same here. When I bought mine, only the driver door worked. In less than a week the other three went out. Mine didn't have the type where you could do the resistor mod. I bought the dorman replacements from RockAuto. That was two years ago. FWIW I was surprised many other vehicles this actuator is used in.

I had to do the door lock mod on mine back when I had my 2000. You have to pull the actuators out do the door and take them apart, pull a little metal piece out wrap it in foil. Then you need to screw it back together. It's pretty easy, there should be a write-up somewhere.

This is what I did few years ago, guess Ill have to pull one back out and check it. It's just weird that three would all go out at the same time. Any part numbers on those dormans? Ill report back if I discover anything odd.

I don't remember what exactly I even got. It may have even been dorman ones.
If they fit as many vehicles as hucorey says, I might have just remembered than as being universal

Not too bad the third time around...

Pulled em out today here is what I found. Dog must have stood on the switch or power surge... idk?

Cleaned it off with some sand paper.

Sanded the "resistor delete" and brushes.

Brought it back to life, works intermittently. Parts store wants $46.99 each, prolly get some from Rockauto as suggested.

Ill do a detailed right up and post it for you srjd and anyone else who needs it.
