HPOP system / Oil system

Ok I need some help understanding how this works. I was putting in my HP xover line and the oil coming out of the hole was way too clean compared to the oil pan…

So lets start from the oil pan. From there what path does the oil travel through the engine and injectors? How does the oil get to the turbo in there?

Maybe someone has a write up or a diagram or something to help me understand this.

Well if what I think is right it goes like this.

You have the Low pressure oil pump that supplies oil the the crank, cam bearings, lifters, and turbo. don't know what order they are supplied though.

the low pressure oil pump also feeds the HPOP resevoir where the oil is fed to the hpop, from the hpop to the hp oil rail / injectors, then from there I would assume back to the pan.

Not sure though, That is just my take on it.

I can never seem to upload anything and have it turn out correctly.I've never been able to post pictures of my truck. It says they're too big.Yet i see bigger ones posted every day. What's the secret?

I will try to post the article again.

to big is probably file size not physical size. Open the picture in paint and make it just a little but smaller then save it and try uploading it. that works on myspace
