Tuner fuel economy

Can some of you that have used chips and programmers chime in and tell me your experiences with them. Whether they helped or hurt your fuel economy, and how much.

mine has gained me an average of 2 mpg when i can keep my foot out of it. I will let you know what the new programs do for me hopefully next week
