I took mine off of mine and sold them after several months of having them on my old 99. I was glad they were gone, especially when it was raining or snowy, they are slippery as heck then. I really like the power steps, but they are pricey.

I have the same running boards...you don't have a grandparent or someone in your family who is old do you? If ya do I'd keep um! My grandma loves riding in my truck so I got to keep mine for her.

Just a thought man. Your truck will look good either way.
