Looking for Oil additive

Ok so I had the rare opprotunity to sit with an on call tech at ford, the guy that the technicians in the shop go to when they cant figure an issue out. Being a diesel nut I asked to go to the diesel side of the center, in talking to the tech about my hard start he told me to get Hot shot oil additive. does anyone know where I can buy this I have looked around a little and havnt seen it. He was telling me the little valve on the top of the injector wont move as easy to fire the injector with the thicker cold oil.

I know the 6.0 guys swear by Rev-X, which I'm going to try in my 7.3.

I was a 6.0 guy and I must say that REV-X is one heck of a product! It is expensive but I ran it through three oil changes and it made a HUGE difference in the start ups and overall 'healthy' sound of my 6.0

I have used rev x and i dont know how much it really helped because i switched to T6 the same oil change that it was add it. The combination of t6 and revx together helped my cold start alot. Ive herd of hot shot but never used it but here is a link to there site.

Hot Shots has an oil and fuel additive designed just for fords. I use both of them and works great.

Tractor Supply carries hot shot. Over time the poppet valve will wear like anything else. Are those the original injectors on the truck as far as you can tell?
