You need to get a whole lot more specific... WOT? Highway? Towing? What?

You'll get 500 different answers for 30 different trucks. I get 24# boost at WOT, 5# freeway cruising, 1-2# city cruising, 10# normal accel, 3-4# light accel. EGT's go up with the higher boost scenarios, but I cruise on the freeway at ~550-630*

What problem are you trying to figure out? Just wanting to know if you're in normal ranges?

Dude, you have an awesome memory!
My EGT on the hwy is a little higher on average, but my truck is heavy so that makes sence.

Still pretty slow, just less slow now.

Just things I pay attention to. Historical data aids in fixing issues before you're stuck on the side of the road. I'm on smaller tires than you as well, so a little less drag there.

But yeah, each truck will be different, which is why anything below 1250* is considered okay, and short duration spikes up to 1400* won't kill it. Other numbers are irrelevant because simply removing the muffler changes normal EGT's. Add on all the rest of the mods us clowns do, and EGT is just a cool thing to look at. Keep it below max and you won't weld a piston to the wall.
