Been having the same issue with my truck. My question is WHERE is the switch? A buddy of mine who used to have an F350 and is an ASE Tech told me it was at the front of the door, but in reading all of parts descriptions for a new switch, they keep saying the switch is part of the latch, which I would think is at the BACK of the door. Right, I'm not going to replace it yet though, going to try cleaning it first via this method: Dome lights stay on My question is, do I spray in the hole where the black rod goes from the a-pillar into the door, or on the actual latch mechanism where it attaches to the b-pillar? Also, an easier solution to stop this from draining your batts is to just to pull the top-left relay in the box under the access panel under the dash. Mine's been that way for 6 months, just finally getting around to fixing it. |

My excursion has this problem all the time. I just spray w/ wd40 every spring & fall. This seems to help out
