Over boost = DeFuel?

Hey all, I was comparing my 1/4 mile times with and with out the vacuum line hooked to the waste gate. I noticed that my times were 3/10 to 8/10 slower! So my question is does the over boost code defuel the engine or am I psyching my self out??? :censord:

Yes it does. Also depending on the amount of boost the turbo could be past it's effiency range. The added heat will slow the truck down. More boost doesn't allways mean more power.

awww yes

O.K. that is what I thought, but I wanted some input from others as my neighbor with a PSD swore up and down that it wouldn't, but did't want his driveway princess to be the guinea pig! Thanks a ton!
