im guessing you have a door ajar light and the interior lights staying on??

Here is the easy fix since door panel and partial latch removal is required to replace it...

Spray half a can of brake clean into the part of each latch that actually latches. Let it dry for about ten minutes, then spray about 5 seconds worth of WD40 into the same area. The light will stay off for anywere from 2-12 months....then this will need to be repeated. If you live in a dusty area, you might want to go ahead and just replace the switches...but in normal areas this cleaning will work for 6months to a year.....all you need is two cans of brake clean and a little WD for a crew cab, and one can for an extended or regular cab...
