7.3 Injector sleeve tool???

So, uh who has one, and whats it gonna take to borrow one? Rent one? SOMETHING...

And of course, ford wants a medium sized fortune to do the work, you 90 dollar diagnostic fee, 10 hours to remove injectors, and figure out which one is leaking(even if I already know), blahy blah... I was told, approx 1600-2000...

B/S

If I had the money to BUY one of these tools, I would....

This is rediculous...

I already popped one out, but it was a MAJOR PITA...

Are you looking for the removal tool or the install tool?

This is really the only tool you need INSTALL TOOL To remove go buy a 1 1/4 tap and a slide hammer. get a nut that will screw onto the slide hammer. weld the nut to the end of the tap. screw the tap into the sleeve. screw the slide hammer into the nut you welded on and slide hammer it out. Then use the tool to install the sleeve. Make sure you use sleeve retaining compound on the sleeve.

I will try to find a 1.25inch tap... I was looking, but the best I could find locally was 1 inch.. I will try again...

But, I had a 1.25 bolt, and tried working that in there, but, the brass is harder than I planned...

And installing, yeah, I got it in okay, and have the loc tite sleeve stuff...

I really gotta get this taken care off... I have no anit freeze in the coolant system, only water, and some water wetter I had on the shelf to stop corrosion...

Gotta go find a few o-ring kits as well...

Hopefully it will stay nice this weekend...

I have seen these tools for sale on the internet. The set runs about $75.00 but they all seem to be out of stock. Anyone have a set they want to sell?
