so i got a bullydog watch dog and tried to install it tonight but couldnt find a fuse to tap into that would work for the key in setting. tried both instrument cluster fuses, the radio and fuel pump fuses and none of them worked. any ideas??
The wire is under the dash, switched ignition. It is in the "customer access bundle" to the right of the steering column, fed by a 10A fuse in the under dash fuse box. If I recall, the wire is blue with a pink tracer

Located in underdash fuse panel
2000 Fuse 27
2001 Fuse 27
2002 Fuse 29
5 of them are (+) tapped by a purple wire, the other 5 are tapped to cigarrette (+). Since it doesnt take much to "run" the gauges, the first 5 (+) were grouped together, so then it had one lead. Same as the other set of 5 gauges.
What i found cool and easy to wire up then, was using trailer wiring. Got your grd, (+), assy (+), all flat taped up together...:thumb:
You can though, "fuse-tap" or find another "open" circuit off the panel.
