oil, oil and more oil?

So I sold my edge. and while i was taking it out i was looking at the back of the engine. were I useally have an oil leak.. I could not tell where it was coming from.. When i was on top i checked the turbo and vally. both dry. when I went to remove the conecter by the fan my hand came out oily? anyone have any idea whats that about? also i checked the oil level sence its been taking my truck a second to come to pressure lately. and it was fine but it looked like at the top of the mark on the dip stick that there were little bubbles or something, ive never seen before? Little bubbles? Maybe water???? smell the oil and see if its fuel? just some things that it could be.

The bubbles are nothing, just air in the oil... the oil from the front of the motor could be a front main seal, could be a HPOP res leak (never seen one but its possable)... What were you unpluging by the fan that the edge plugged into? The EBP sensor?

I would check your HPOP fittings, it could be leaking foward if your truck has a rake to it. Also could be a Front main...
