Use protection?

I installed my DIY Intake this weekend and was wondering if many of you DIYers use pre-filter socks over yours?
I would like to protect my investment and performance inhancement.
Where's a good place to pick up one of these? How much?

I don't use one, but there is a company that makes them and I can't remember the name of the company. I will see what I can come up for you

Know where I can get them? I wrote Baldwin - got no response. I have seen some web sites where you give them your filter dimensions and they will make a custom one. I haven't priced one yet. Just figured someone would stock these.

(I thot it was funny too. Only you and me bud. Everyone must have gone to bed early tonight. Late ball game last night. )
