rear view mirror

My son pulled of my rear view mirror today. I'm wondering what is the best way to glue it back on. Should I take ot to a windshield shop, a body shop or will a do it yourself kit work for a long time?

do it your self, Wal Mart has mirror glue. I've done it several times in the past works great.

Yea, mirror glue from wal-mart or any auto parts store. Just make sure to clean the area of the windshield and metal portion of the mirror mount really well. You might have to take a razor blade and scrap any old glue residue off the metal base. If its' smooth, then it's probably okay to go.

Yep same answer here. Looks the same as the superglue packaging, small tube. I used an alchol wipe after I scraped the residue off. If I remember the instructions tell you the same thing. Or you could get raped and take it into a windshield shop and probably pay 20 bones
