02 power wont turn off

I have an 02 7.3 and when I turn the ignition off the power wont shut off. The radio stays on, the key fob stops working. I have to pull the negative terminals of the batteries to shut it down. The truck runs fine, just wont turn off. The engine turns off but the electric stays on. Any help is appreciated

Does your dome light come on when you open the drivers door?

If you turn the key off, open the drivers door and the dome light doesn't come on then it sounds like you have a door ajar switch sticking. Try opening the front passenger side door and see of the power turns off or if the dome light comes on.

Go into the sub forum you want and click the blue button at the top left that says "new thread".

I tried that and had same results. When I'm driving down the road the open door light stays on even though all doors are tightly closed

Have you tried spraying WD-40 into the door latches and then shutting and opening the doors a few times. Sometimes that helps.
