Tech needed - Charging system questions

After some searching, I can't find an answer.
Nothing is WRONG with the charging system, I just need some answers for some mods I have planned. To the question...

My 7.3L single alternator is putting out around 190-205amps @ 2000 RPM's under load (I had it tested when I installed 2 new batteries). How many amps does the engine (IDM, PCM, fuel pump and what not) need to have to run properly? I'm trying to find out how much overhead I have to safely play with.

Thanks!

well considering the pcm runs off of a 20 amp fuse and the idm i think is a 40 amp circuit , thats only 60 amp max voltage which tells me its running off of less than that if that makes since

Thanks. My truck is in the shop getting some suspension work done and I couldn't remember off hand. I was assuming that it needed a minimum of 70amps and was going to allow 75-80amps to be on the safe side.
