Truck doesnt blow the Black Smoke anymore???
Hey guys i have a 2000 7.3 PSD F-350 DRW and recently added a edge evolution program to it.After running a superchips tuner for years I was blown away by the edge.My truck had much more power on a lower setting and the black smoke would roll out like a train litterally blacking out any thing behind me.Over the last couple og weeks ive notived that im gettting less and less smoke when i hammer the throttle but the power seems to still be there, which kinda confuses me.My truck other than the edge and a bully dog intake and gagues is stock, any ideas?
thanks Jason |

could have just been pushin some built up soot out or something like that for the first few times you romped on it. My friend with a gas job rigged my old side pipe on to his truck and the first couple times he goosed it the thing "sooted" like crazy lol. Ever see a gas job rollin coal? lol

I considered that but it blew good smoke for a month or so and it wasnt like it had never been chipped,i went straight from superchips to edge but the superchips never seen the day it performed like the edge. But now the smoke is very similar to the SC,im just wandering if maybe the lower sulfur fuel or if ive got something gertting ready to go amiss
A gas burner rolling coal....... that should be illegal, lolJason |
