Diamond eye exhaust

Anybody had a diamond eye exhaust system (aluminized) for a while? How is it wearing from normal road crud? And how well did it fit when you installed it?

I have had it on my rig for about a year and it looks great. Do you have a manual or an Auto trans? I have a manual and it took a little adjusting to get it in just right but it fits pretty well. I dont know on an auto but I think it is an easier fit.

I have a manual. I got to thinking about it and since it's real dry and they don't salt the roads here I should be fine on corrosion. The exhaust will probably outlast me. Haha

I have had a diamond eye aluminized exhaust for a little over a year now and it looks like the day i put it on. Thats also through a wisconsin winter. Lots of salt on the roads up here. Fit and finish of the system was top notch. Went in real easy, everything that was needed for install was in the box. The downpipe was a tight fit but got it in with minimal swearing.

With the manual there will be some fine tuning, you need make sure its not hitting the trans otherwise it makes a gnarly sound that will drive you crazy.

As long as the hangers all generally line up with the factory pieces I can handle some fine tuning.

And good to hear that your system survives the salt very well.

Thanks for the info.
