new member, checking out this truck soon.

found this truck on cl, 2wd, 6psd, 231k, going to check it out soon.

the white inside the bed , he said he changed the bed. dunno why you wouldn't paint the inside. spray paint might be in it's future.

what goes wrong with these things? what to look for, i drove my dads gf's 02 f350 for a while and it seemed slow( compared to my dads 04 dodge 2500 qclb). maybe it was just worn out. but it was also a qclb 4x4. so thanks for any tips!

Ask to see it, its probably just a hand held tuner which arent as good overall as the 6 position tw/dp ect ect ect chips people on here have.

it just looks to me to have the 6.0 style door badge but the pic isnt too clear and see if its an E99 or late 99 that would make a LARGE difference in purchase price/and decision.

whats the difference? i'll ask for build date but he's 150 miles away and i can 't go look at it until next week sometime. he's not asking too much. the chip is just a plus, i don't really care about it.

The e99 is basically an osb 7.3(motor wise) vs the new style 7.3 I think its heads/turbo/computer but im not 100%.

I wouldn't pay over 5k for a super clean e99

What are your plans for it? DD tow obviously not mud/offroading tho.

4800 isn't a bad price at all I'd throw 4 and see what happens I paid 11,5 for my lariat 4x4 7.3 in almost the same color but with only 150k on it.
