Got got a Ford Recall

Just got a Ford recall in the mail today. Ford is recalling mine for the cam shaft positioning sensor. Figured I'd drop this in case anyone else may have a truck like mine.....

talked to shop foreman locally wednesday he said ford is only sending him two cps every monday.

I saw the recall on yahoo news or something like that. I already went and had it replaced. Why does the dealership take 2 hrs to replace what takes me 10mins?

Took my dealer less than an hour from the time I handed them the keys till I was driving away. I stopped in one day to make sure their wasn't a time limit on when they would replace it, I figured I would wait till after the rush, since everything was running fine. They said, what time did I want to bring it in, they had time the next day, so I did.

This was a small country dealer with only one diesel tech.

i have already had mine replaced, in there for a trans warranty thing and they told me that they put in a new cam sensor due to the recall and that they wanted all my old bills for the 7 others id put in it to get reimbursed That was a great day

My dad got the letter for his 99 in the mail today.just yesterday I was reading on how they would fail on a different forum.
