trip planning questions

i have a 99 f250 7.3 auto 4x4. i have done the diy air intake 4667 or something like that. i have a sct tunner set on street and a banks 4in monster exhaust. truck has 305-75-16 toyo mt's im pulling a 18 foot enclosed trailer loaded to almost 7000lbs. what kind of fuel milage should i expect to see. i am trying to get a rough estimate. i will be splitting the fuel cost 3 ways so im trying to give my buddies and idea of what they need to pay. the round trip if 400 miles and about half is interstate the other half is stop and go. i havent really driven the truck on the interstate long distance so i have no idea of how far i can go to 1 tank of fuel.

I would set the tuner to a tow setting to be nice to your tranny. I have no good guess in what your mileage will be. Keep it 60-65mph and you'll get about as good as you can expect.

First of all, get some gauges if you don't have any. And a 400 mile round trip in my truck is about 3/4 of a tank.

I'd say 10-12 MPG
