Trailer Wiring

My driver side blinker, and brake light do not work on my trailer, but the running lights do. I hooked my trailer up to another truck and everything works fine. I tried to figure it out this afternoon, but I couldnt.

It's something with that one wire. Remember the brake light and turn signal are on the same wire and the running lights is on another. If I had to guess without looking at it I would point to corrosion in the plug itself.

If it worked while plugged into another truck but not yours then it is your truck that has the problem.
I would start by looking at the plug itself and the wires going into it. if the connections are good then you need to see if you are getting power to the plug. if not then you need to start digging and find out if fuses are bad, and if wires are broken, so on and so forth.

You have two 7.5 amp fuses under the hood that are bad. At least that's what was wrong on my 00 and my brothers 01.
