winter grill
how will putting somthing behind grill to help warm up the truck effect the intercooler? should i worry about the egts? i dont have a pyro yet. its been around 0 or negetives here lately.

Plug it in and I wouldnt recamend putting anything infront of the radiator or behind the grill.

My radiator is almost completly coverd. I still cant get the engine temp past 180*.

covering you rad is common in sub zero temps . I believe lund makes push in inserts to close off patial airflow. I have a billet grill in mine so i cannot use the inserts and put cardboard over 50 % of the rad. right now it is -37c plus windchill , if i do not cover the rad my truck wont even warm the cab at highway speeds, also you could richen your coolant % to 60/40 this will help

I drove my 6.0 from Alaska to Idaho 3/4 covered behind the grill Jan 1-6 and had 0 issues with it. Faster warm up for sure at -10 to -40 while in Alaska. I kept the grill open in front of the zoodad.
