HPOP Gasket Question
Does anyone have a part number for the HPOP gasket that goes between the HPOP and the gear housing? I called the dealer and was just told "don't have one". I asked for the part number and he told that he already cleared his screen.
Any help would be great. Thanks! |

I don't like that dealer's parts department. I've had nothing but issues. Take last week for example. I needed a Trac-lok clutch kit for a 2001 10.5 3 pinion unit. He said without the tag on the rear end, there is no way he'd ever know what the posi unit came out of. I got a bit upset, called a buddy at a gear shop. He found the ford number and gave it to me. I called the dealer back and gave the SAME guy the part number and he asked me again what it came out of. I told him a again and he said that he needed the tag number or he couldn't tell me if it was correct. I wanted to kill him. So I called a few internet gear places and a few other dealers and I'm having it shipped to me.
BUT I've bought my wife's car there and the service department has taken VERY good care of the car. |

Call Bob at dieselsite or Joey at terminator engineering or Gary at Stecher performance diesel. These guys play with the HPOP's all the time. They tear them down and put them back together so they must have seals and gaskets. Bob rebuilds them so I know he must have the parts.

There isn't a smilie for empty pockets. So I think this
describes my toy budget now. I'm up to about 6-7K now. After the next two items we've discussed, I'm done for awhile. I need to work on my '41 and the firetruck.
