6.0-7.3 tc swap

anyone got any links to swaping the 6.0 tc to a 7.3 i hear its a good alt to a high $ aftermaket one but cant find a link hear theres some holes that have to be drilled anyone done one can tell me how its working ?????

All i know is you have to drill some new holes to mount it. give John Woods a call he would be able to tell you all about it

ive heard it works pretty slick. I think John Woods sells a plate or adapter of some sort to make it all jive. I would talk to him

called him 8 times last week never got an answer was gonna keep trying this week was just thinkin somebody hear would know or maybe even be running one already

well if ya do get ahold of him about it let me know what he says as far as cost and what not. Im gonna need to start doing some tranny work besides the valve body here pretty quick

yep can do i hear its cheaper and just as good as anyother to the 4-450hp range was gonna look into his valve body as well as a bts

So with a good converter our trannys will hold 4-450hp. Im thinkin im not gonna ever be past that just due to $$$$ constraints. I really like Johns VB. I have jody's tuning where teh VB is supposed to be obsolete and it shifted nice and firm but I got Johns VB as well, jody said it works with my tuning< anywyas it shifts really nice now, nice and firm, not harsh at all, and lightning quick. Im curious what a good TC will do??

well dont know that the tranny will hold up forever at that ive just been hearing that with the tc swap and valve body its good to that range as for how long dont know but wanna find out so im waiting for some one to come along thats done the swap or has a link hopfully soon
