radiator hose on 7.3

Hey Guys

I was doin some visual check up's on my truck (2001 7.3) and found that my upper radiator hose was being torn into by the pully right next to it I assume when it would swell up under pressure while driving. Its the one that comes out of the top and passes around to the right and back behind the pulley to the thermostat, at that bend is where it was rubbing. I think it was the serp, belt tearring into it. Anyway I changed the hose to one that goes straight from the radiator under the serp, belt to the thermo, Isaw this hose on my friends "99 7.3"and it's fine fits great. just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone who may not have paid any attn to this as a helpful hint
