Giday all,
My f250 broke down on saturday, i was on the beach at the time and also on an island, a plate in the back of the hpop released and the piston come out 10mm, i tryed to knock it back but couldn't, last year in did replace the o ring behind the plate but i don't think i pushed the clip back in properly, i also have a leak in it which i can't find, do you blokes know where i can buy a new one?

hate i cant tell ya where to buy one but its never a good idea to tear into those pumps , asking for trouble , the whole pump needs to be replaced , you dont have any ford shops where your at

I will pull the hpop off today and order a new one soon, ford australia should change their name to ''fraud australia'' a set of injectors here is $32,000 an engine is $64,000, an alternator is $2,200 do you blokes want to guess what a hpop would cost? ill go first $16,000 i reckon thats what it would be, i will ring in the morning to find out, its a public holiday here for australia day on saturday, i will post the answer tomorrow.
p.s thats some serious rigs you blokes have, not much like that here.

I know you can buy HPOPs for around $350-$450 on the internet and eBay, couldn't cost too much to ship them down under. There are some pics in my sig link of an HPOP that I took apart and the new 17* HPOP that I put on my truck for $345 delivered, if it helps you any.

I phoned the fraud steelership today, i was surprised at the hpop price of $3,800, i thought it would be more, im sure they have a dart board with prices nailed to it and they just chuck the darts at the board and thats the price, thanks for the help i will ring bob tonight, i think he is -5 hours g.m.t .
