Wipers won't shut off

My wipers have a mind if their own and won't shut off until I either shut the key off or pull the relay under the hood. I changed the multi switch and swapped relays around but noting changes. Any ideas? GEM? Motor?

I'd be thinking GEM, is it possibly wet from the leaking windshield issue we can have?

Also, on an '01, you might have a traditional GEM, or if you have the '02 electrical upgrade (digital OD, Trans Temp Gauge) it's now relocated to behind the Radio and called a VSM (water is no longer an issue)

Nope not 02 style. It's the traditional gem.

The windshield could possibly be the problem. I've had a drop or two come out of the overhead console after a long rain but I figured that was the marker lights. It's got a crack so it'll have to get replaced anyway. Guess ill have to call the stealership ...

I have an extra motor here so I'm going to try thy before I order the gem.
