F450 transfer case?

I just picked up a 99 f450 4x4 powerstroke. The transfer case is blown out of it. From what I've read it is a 271F, it shows the same model for the 250 and 350. I assume that they are interchangeable , or are the output shaft flanges different?

The NP271F is a New Process 271 Ford which is the manual shift transfercase used in all 99+ Super Duties. The 273 is the electric version. What you need to watch out for is what transmission the donor vehicle had. A 4R100 auto uses a different input shaft from a ZF6 stick. You can swap the shaft between the two if necessary.
