2001 intercooler boots?

I am wanting to buy a pair of intercooler boots from RiffRaff, seeing soot on the intercooler boots directly off the cooler itself. I noticed there are different sizes on RiffRaffs site, the long hoses, I currently have ford factory or ford branded hump hoses, I can't see the product numbers on it.

Is there a way to tell the size of hose you need (hot and cold side) with out removing the hoses and measuring?
I ask because I drive the truck daily and don't want to risk removing the bad hoses because they look terrible.

Thanks for the input! Mine does not look like it has a reducer but.. it would be a minimal reducer to see.

The ones I have now look similar to this

I'm in the same situation... Don't want to pull them and then have them keep popping off.

Only way to be sure is to pull one off.

I wouldn't replace them unless they are torn. I just take mine off and clean them every once in a while.

Really? I thought since soot is on and around the hose that it meant the coupler was weak or old... becoming deformed etc..

You shouldn't be seeing any soot on the IC boots, it's clean air that's been compressed by the turbo.
