Truck wont start after I took the chip out

Well I had the TS chip installed on my truck and it wouldn't blow any smoke so I had it taken out to send it back...and now my truck will not start...my first thought was a fried computer but I can cross the solenoid and it'll start up and run fine...all the lights work and everything when I turn the key and the glowplugs cycle but when I turn it to start nothing at all happens...I tried it back with the chip reinstalled in it too and that didn't work...and I didn't have any theft no start tune on the chip either...I also bought a new clutch safety start switch and that didn't work either...any ideas on what might be wrong?...thanks for the help

I didn't hear any kind of click when I turn the key all the way...but the starter is working fine when I just put a screwdriver across the terminals on the solenoid

my guess is the ignition switch went bad if it starts and runs when you jump the solenoid

Use a test light to see if the relay is getting power when you turn the key. Put one end on the negative battery post. Unplug the small wire going to the relay and put the other end of the test light in it's socket . If it lights up you have a bad relay.

Did you disconnect the negative on both batteries when you changed the chip. If so, did you reconnect both.

I fixed it today...the new clutch safety switch came loose after I installed it and pushed the clutch in...I messed with it a little more and now it is starting just fine, but thanks for the suggestions...I appreciate it...hopefully i'll have my chip back soon...I sent it back to get it reburned today
