#6 Injector Replacement

I have 2002 7.3 and had a shop diagnose a bad #6 injector, brain, valve cover gasket and harness. I have ordered the parts and wanted to get input on replacing it. Is there anything I haven’t thought of? Do I need any specialty tools? Has anyone had problems splicing the wires for the harness?

i would cancel the order and do some "googling". You could remove the vc, inspect the #6 yourself, ohm out connector while in there, inspect if wire pins are burnt, with truck idling, unplug connector to injector, see if truck "falls"....lots of avenues man.
