Question Sensor by Zoodad Mod

What is the sensor mounted just below the area you cut away to do the zoodad mod? I was thinking it was a temperature sensor?

If so does it just sense temp for overhead console or does it have a function for the engine?

The reason I ask is I have a pre made piece of metal that would make a great shroud to funnel the air into the opening to the air filter, but I would have to relocate that sensor.

Yes it's a temp sensor for the overhead console.

Agreed...if you leave it in an area similar to where it is, I don't see why you can't relocate it. Say, to a lower location, or off to one side.

I've noticed that too, before and after doing the zoodad...and during the summer especially sitting in the sun. As soon as I start moving it adjusts though.

Thanks!
I am going try to get this Mod. done this weekend along with flushing my cooling sytem and filling up with Final Charge. I think I will replace the upper hose with the re-routed style, and do the bottom hose while I'm at it.
