touch screen radio/gauges

I was getting ready to order an edge insight cts for gauges, but then had another thought cross my mind. Here it is. I was thinking about ordering an android touch screen radio to replace my factory radio. It is wifi/3g capable and thought i could download an app like the torque app or similar and buy a obd II reader that is blue tooth capable, then i would have all my read outs on my in dash display. i was thinking maybe even the dash boss kit to link it with. Would that work? Do you have to have wifi/3g to be running these apps? Just trying to get some opinions and do some research. Thoughts Please! Thanks in advance!

i was think'n the same thing, but usingthe DP-Tuner Infiniti. But, its not a radio. It does have a sd slot, to install music/video, but a radio its not. Too bad too, because i think that / what were thinking, would be A GREAT idea.
