Battery cables

Anyone know where I can find new positive cables other than the $177 ford wants? The corrosion was past the terminal when I cut the wire and isulation back, poof more corrosion. Starting to run out of cable to shorten up

have you done this? how complicated is the pos side withe the starter relay and the starter and such, I've looked at them breifly and it lookes like they slit here and splice there and such. I've looked into making my own out of welding lead (wich I will be doing for the neg) but the pos just looks a little to complicated.

Are all the cables bad? Just replace the bad ones.

not sure. I definatly know that the end where the battery terminal is, is bad, and that looks like it goes to the starter. the other little one at the bat goes to the solenoid if I'm not mistaken, and thats where it looks to be getting confusing

Take a look at these. Look like they are pretty healthy (2/0 gauge).
