LOL... I guess your right, but I guess a better way to describe it would have been the rod let go while he was NOT at the track LOL...

With an 11 second truck I'm sure you can't really give her all she's got on the road anyway...

What happened to your motor, how many miles did it have on it?

Dusted by the crappy factory air filter system before I bought it and before I knew anything about powerstrokes. Bought at 130,000, started modding with a DIY intake around 135,000 and ran her hard until 200,000 when I finally decided to go ahead and build the engine because I got tired of folks making fun of the massive blowby coming out of my CCV tube and I got a bad load of fuel that ruined the injectors and crapped up the whole fuel system so I just pulled it and went through the whole motor. $4,000 later and all seems well now.
