Weird chime sound

My truck is doing some real weird chime noises.

When I just turn my key on and let it sit after about 15-25 seconds it starts beeping at me. It beeps 5 times quits and beeps 5 more times and quites and repeats this around 5 times. then quits and wont do it again. it also does this when the truck starts.

Also when I turn my truck key to Accessory door open or closed the chime as sounds like a door alarm starts beeping and wont quit.

any ideas?

GEM issue?

It sounds like an issue I have. If its a 5 beeps in a series of 5 sets it refers to an airbag issue. My issue is the light is missing from the dash thus my airbag light should be on

Hmmm I had it on a scanner this weekend and it showed no issues in the air bag system.

Honestly I wouldn't doubt the sensor for that is bad. But no worries I do wear my seat belt. That bulb may be burnt out also *face palm*

Ya, the bulb is out, the noise will happen... Google it, and you'll read where they use resistors and what not, but i had no luck that route. Went to radio shack, got me a red 12v led, soldered it in, and BAM, no more noise

Well I'll just go get a bulb and replace it then. The chime is so obnoxious
