water pump/coolant filter

finally did a coolant flush and switched to the cat coolant last fall when i replaced my thermo housing. now my water pump is leaking. since i have to drain the coolant again should i add a coolant filter? are they necccessary when running the ec-1 coolant?

A coolant filter is just a good idea.

i thought it probably would be. was gonna order the filter kit from dieselsite and the pump but it doesn't say what brand their pump is. anyone know?

I just installed one of their pumps, I don't know the brand but can't beat their warranty

just did a thermo housing change and mine started leaking
not sure of there brand either but O'Rielly's offers water pumps with lifetime warranty for about the same price. haven't changed mine yet as i just had a wreck
