well when I put on my exhuast the stock on just fell out.... but the new 4'' down pipe was a hassle untill I took a ratchet strap and put on hook on my tranny and the other on the frame and moved it untill it would fit... quick and easy that way...

Down the road if ya'll notice any vibrations, look at the area where the tubing passes over the trans crossmember. Exhaust kits on 7.3's are known to migrate towards one of the bolts holding it to the frame causing vibration against it. Mine did and there have been at least a half dozen posts on here with members who have had the same issue. You can adjust it, but it will likely do it again. We just welded an exhaust hangar to the crossmember and to the tubing forcing it away from bolt.
