Finally ditched the cummins for a powerstroke!!!

I recently sold my somewhat built 24 valve cummins and bought a 2001 250 crew cab 6 speed 4x4 with only 185k miles on it..

the bed is a little rough, as well as the cloth seats are a little dirty, but it does have the rubber floors which is good.. i ended up gettin it for 7100...was this a pretty good deal?

i'd say ,thats a killer deal, if alls running right. Looked like he had a p/s rear blowout. My bed looked that way too, after a tire blew up. Pouneded/pulled it out and doesnt look that bad...

I would say you made a good deal. 7.3's are holding a higher value due to the supply/demand law. Right now, people like me who have 7.3's don't trust the newer trucks and feel more comfortable with something that is proven reliable. Every publication I have read about the greatest diesel engines ever always include the 7.3, sometimes first. KEEP THAT TRUCK!

I also sold my 24 valve and bought my current ride back in September. I was very attached to the Dodge but I already feel the same (if not more) about my 7.3. And I haven't even started adding any upgrades (besides coolant filtration) to it yet. Enjoy!

Good looking truck you picked up and happy to have another guy. Those dents in the bed just give the truck character. I had a 95 Dodge with a 12 valve and that was great running engine but man it leaked from everything. Hope you enjoy the new ride
