AIS intake and muffler delete

Getting the ford intake for the early 99. was wondering what the best price is and wheater or not i should get the fender boot thing.

second question was about a muffler delete. right now it has some sort of aftermarket 4" cat with a 4" banks turbo back kit. right now there is no exhaust noise, just turbo whistle and that mud terrain tire hum. If i remove the muffler but leave the cat would there be a big difference in sound or performce even if the cat stays? would like to leave the cat just incase a cop on a bad day has something to say, if it was only me driving and my truck it would fall off but the last thing i want is my dad mad cause i talked him into taking the cat off.

any help greatly appreciated
