oing tranny flush and valve body today, quick question

On the passenger side there are 2 steel lines running to or from the tranny, im thinking the one in the rear is the one i need to unhook when doing the flush, i just want to make sure? I thought i read somewhere they were rubber lines thats why im just makin sure. anyone help? Also what size are those steel lines so i can hook another hose from that to the bucket im draining into. thanks in advance
