rounded tread
My front tires are rounding off majorily at the front portions of each individual lug , while the rears of each lug are staying to a sharp point. Tires are practically brand new and they are wearing like this extremely fast. They are BFG MUD Terrains. I know that this might be normal but not as this pace. Don't think I need an alignment as the truck tracks perfectly. Any ideas?

Check alignment and ball joints.
the 315 buckshots on my 250 do the same thing, even with good alignment. I just rotate them regularly to keep it from getting outta hand. |

balljoints are brand new and truck does not seem as it needs an alignment (tracks perfectly). Didn't want to take it to the shop and spend all that money on an alignment when truck really doesnt need one. Maybe its just normal

Yeah, I'm good friends with the guy who own the tire store I shop and and he says a mud terrain on a truck as heavy as ours will do that.
Best thing to do is rotate em as often as possible. |
