Dunb question?
When I start my truck on a cold morning, I have noticed that it idles a little high right of the bat (about 750). then after a couple of minutes, it will kick up to about 1100 rpm. Is this normal for my stock 02'? The only reason I ask is because I plan on getting a Wildman chip, and I notice that it is available with a high idle file.
I guess I'm basically wondering if my stock computer is doing this, or maybe is has some type of aftermarket chip, or download in it??? Any help is appreciated |

The truck will do this to warm up...

It is doing exactly what it is suppose to do. Nothing wrong at all. The high idle will keep the idle at a set level where with the stock programming it will kick back down once engine is up to temp.
