Re: bought 99 7.3

Congrats on the new trk...

Ive had DP Tuners for 5+ years and quite happy...

I thought the cut off date was mid dec 98... so a build date after late dec should be a late model trk. Should gave powerstroke badge on door not fender... AIH in spyder... check the thread in early 99 section for complete list.

FYI... suspention changes didnt take effect untill later... march of 99 I think. So its possible to have late model motor with early track bar.

Congrats on your first PSD. I am sure you will be happy with it.

We would be happy to set you up with a chip and some tunes. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about our products.

Oh, and it is pretty easy to distinguish an E99 from a L99. Just look for the AIH in the intake spyder. If it is there, it is a L99.

Then it should be a L99, but check to make sure.

Differences between early99 and late99-03 trucks

Check out this forum, it'll tell you all you need to know.

You most likely have a hybrid of the early and late, with the E99 suspension but 99.5 engine.
